The Indiahoma United Methodist Church believes youth are an invaluable part of the congregation. There are a variety of programs for children of all ages.
     The UMYF group meets Sunday afternoons.

     The after school youth program meets Wednesday afternoons.
     During worship, children can stay in the nursery.
     There are two Sunday school classes: one for those younger than sixth grade and one for those older than sixth grade.
     Every summer the church has a Vacation Bible School program for children from pre-school to sixth grade.

United Methodist Youth Fellowship (UMYF)
Sunday afternoons at 5:30

Beginning Jan. 26, the UMYF youth group will meet every Sunday from 5:30-6:30 p.m. There will be a snack supper, devotion, games and lots of fun. This is for students from 6th grade to seniors in high school. Melissa Major and Shauna Jones are the adult leaders.

 

After School Program
Wednesday afternoons at 3:30

Beginning Jan. 23, the Kids Group will meet every Wednesday from 3:30-4:30 p.m. This meeting is for elementary age children, 6th grade and younger. Alba Dissinger and Colleen Bradley are the adult leaders.

 

Nursery

noah's ark

Children can play in the nursery during worship. Children can experience the story of Noah's ark by the paintings on the walls.

 

Sunday School
10:45 a.m. Classroom 1 or 2.

The Indiahoma United Methodist Church has two Sunday school classes for children. Children younger than sixth grade meet in classroom 2. Herwannah Sellers teaches the younger class. Children in grades six and above meet in classroom 1. Fred Dissinger teaches the older youth.

 

Vacation Bible School

Every summer the church has vacation Bible school for one week. Last year's theme was God's Great Gallery, and children learned they are all masterpieces.
